I intend on using this blog to record my thoughts as I go through my journey with my condition which has been diagnosed as Livedoid Vasculopthy. I have lived with this condition for approximately 5 years at this point. I will be posting links to other related websites and hopefully pictures so I (and others) can track my progression.
I welcome comments from readers.

Thanks for the question. There are really two different feelings associated with this condition for me. One has been described as neuropathy and is a hypersensitivity that feels like skins feels like after a hard slap or a sunburn without the heat. This feeling is mostly on the tops of my feet.
The other feeling is when I develop ulcers. The ulcerated area feels like a rug burn or a scrape. As it heals it itches. The last ulcers took about 8 weeks from the first time they broke through the skin to the time they were healed and scarred over.
The last ulcers have been the most painful part. They broke through about 3 months ago. At times, I was at an 8 or 9 on the 1-10 pain scale.
In addition, the dark ares that look like bruises in the interior of both ankles have been unchanged in appearance for about 4 years.
I have not found any resource that can single out a cause for this. From what I understand, fibrin cuffs or plugs develop in the capillaries. Those fibrin cuffs or plugs define the disorder.
